In addition, there is a community of experts with whom Veloplus and Tribecraft discussed requirements, wishes and ideas – an ideal basis for the joint development of the trailer.
Fourmi can carry many times its own weight. The basis for the sleek trailer is a robust, weatherproof multiplex board with anti-slip surface. Cleverly placed cutouts in the transport plate offer many possibilities for attaching bags, folding boxes, aluminum or Rako crates easily and securely. The drawbar can be rotated 90 degrees, adding a hand cart mode to the bike trailer. The wooden base plate is complemented with wheel deflectors made from recycled tires. Thanks to quick-release axles, the wheels can be removed in seconds - reducing the trailer's stowage size to record-thin dimensions.
Swiss Design & Swiss Made: Fourmi is produced at the Brüggli training and integration institution in Romanshorn, which also has a lot of experience with products for bicycles.
