REPAIR? REUSE? RECYCLE? 
From praiseworthy to worthwhile

In circular design and sustainable development, the time has come to talk about solutions that are worthwhile rather than just praiseworthy. We generate impact not just through atti-tude and goodwill, but by demonstrating benefits, including economic ones. 
So, what is worthwhile? What is not yet? 
How do pioneers deal with this? Why do some people think that everything can simply be shredded and then somehow automatically recycled?
And that it is therefore not worth staying at the top of the “Value Hill”? We will explore these questions in three input presentations and an open talk.

Katharina Döring, Managing Director of Rent.Group Swiss and Freiburg, shows how we make reuse, repair and recycle economically viable with 6 million rental items – from principle to practice.

Marc Vetterli, Sustainability Expert Engineering, V-Zug AG, will show how the course is being set today to offer circular solutions for the triple bottom line of household appliances.

Sabine Krattiger, COO Business Development at Immark, (Thommen Group) explains how the recycling of electronic components works today and is becoming a mine for valuable materials.
